DAY ONE
HELICONIA staff will welcome you at the Airport Vásquez Cobo in Leticia. We will assist you with immigration arrangements before the Colombian and Brazilian authorities, DAS and Federal Police, respectively. The journey will take approximately three hours, during which we will navigate the majestic Amazon River; and thereafter we will enter one of its largest and most important tributaries, the Javarí River, a natural border between Brazil y Peru. During our journey, we will not only enjoy one of the most magnificent panoramas in the world, we will also pass by singular and authentic towns that still conserve vestiges of the colonial times and the rubber boom era. Framed inside paradisiacal vistas, You will be able to see species of exotic beauty, such as the famous Amazon dolphins (pink and grey), the flight of the Guacamayas, heron, Martin Pescadores, eagles, butterflies, and delight in the paradisiacal vistas framing them. Many other surprises await you, when you visit this magical world with us.
